England Centric Organisations
One of the things which really get to me about London centric organsations isn't that they tend to focus on the South East (and that's only because I realise that's very cost effective given the population density down there) but the way that UK = GB = England comes in.
Look at the BBC's Olympic coverage as an example they claim "we'll be showing the action on our Big Screens across the UK." (see for yourself here) and then further down the page where they list the location of the screens it's obvious that what they actually mean is all across England. The list being (Bradford, Bristol, Cardiff, Derby, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Norwich, Plymouth, Portsmouth, Rotherham, Swansea, Swindon, London).
By my count that's 2 in Wales, 0 in Scotland, 0 in Northern Ireland and 14 in England, isn't that good coverage of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland?
